EFM Doc Series Pitch

For 2027, the European Film Market introduces the EFM Doc Series Pitch, curated with DOK.forum, the industry platform of DOK.fest München, in collaboration with EFM DocSalon and the Berlinale Series Market. The new initiative is looking for brand-new, internationally oriented documentary series projects at an early stage of development. Up to ten selected projects from around the world will be presented to potential international co-production and funding partners, commissioning editors, broadcasters, streaming platforms and sales agents during the Berlinale Series Market. The selected projects will benefit from pitching opportunities as well as matchmaking and pre-scheduled one-on-one meetings with interested co-producers and financiers. The call is open to all subjects and IPs with strong international potential. The EFM Doc Series Pitch takes place within the Berlinale Series Market (February 14–16, 2027). Selected projects will also have the opportunity to connect with the wider non-fiction community through EFM DocSalon (February 12–15, 2027).
